We are pleased to present the Economic Growth Strategy, a comprehensive document which details a path out of the challenges posed by Covid-19 and also a longer-term vision for an inclusive, productive, innovative, and sustainable Leicester and Leicestershire.
The Strategy builds on the themes included in the draft Local Industrial Strategy and aligns with current central government priorities surrounding a green recovery and ‘Building Back Better’.
By adhering to this Strategy, we are committed to providing a framework for economic prosperity over the next decade.
A consultation programme is under way and you are invited to contribute your views on the Strategy by following the link at the bottom of this page.
The link will allow you to access the Strategy, and there are also a series of questions for your consideration regarding your thoughts on the aims and priorities outlined. Please note the deadline for responses is 30th July 2021.
