This week the LLEP’s Enterprise Adviser Network team have launched a new online forum for careers leaders, advisers and anyone working in Leicester or Leicestershire schools with an interest in careers education.
The forum, that will be hosted on Facebook Workplace, will be a space to connect locally with all other city and county schools, share ideas, use online chat and collaborate to look at ways of working during these challenging times and beyond.
There is a lot of amazing work still taking place in schools across Leicester and Leicestershire, and this as an opportunity to boost connectivity and access support during ‘lockdown’ and beyond.
The forum will provide a great opportunity to post questions and share information. The Enterprise Adviser Team will contribute by posting careers related developments and new resources mapped to the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Overall, the key purpose is for those working in careers within education to connect with each other. The monthly LLEP Schools Newsletter will continue as usual.
This new forum is a great place to strengthen the community of practitioners for careers and enterprise at a local level.
