ESFA employer survey on government skills incentives

Antoine Akouete-Kuevy, young engineer

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) is seeking employer views on a range of 'Plan for Jobs' incentives, including apprenticeships grants, traineeships, and Kickstart.

The survey also asks employers to share their views on the new T-levels, which are work-based technical qualifications for 16-18 year-olds.

The ESFA is keen that the Government’s wider skills offers meet the needs of employers looking to develop future talent, as well as support individuals to progress in careers.

Its survey therefore consists of questions to gain valuable feedback from employers on these important skills programmes and incentives.

As well as simple multiple-choice questions, the ESFA has included space for employers to give more detailed, open-ended answers. The hope is that they will share honest and valuable insights into their experiences with the government skills programmes.

All employers in Leicester and Leicestershire are invited to complete the survey. SMEs are particularly encouraged to participate, in order that these and future programmes can be tailored to their needs.

The survey is open until 28th February 2021.

All individual responses are anonymised.  Responses will be collated as a group under a Leicester and Leicestershire LEP identifier to indicate geography only.
