Over the weekend the decision has been taken to postpone the International property exhibition MIPIM, that was due to take place in Cannes, France from 10-14 March.

The annual event attracts investors, developers, and local and national governments from all over the world that are all keen to build relationships and reputations. This includes a delegation of Leicestershire businesses under the banner of Team Leicester.
The decision to postpone has been made as the coronavirus epidemic has gathered pace – and the host town of Cannes declared its first confirmed case.
Paul Zilk, Chief Executive of organisers Reed MIDEM, said: “The well-being of our clients and staff is our priority. Given the evolving context, the best course of action is to postpone MIPIM to 2-5 June 2020.
Team Leicester organisers are now working as quickly as possible to provide more information on the implications & next steps for Team Leicester participants.
